The new year has begun very well, with a winter walk on the Solent coast between Calshot and Lepe. This year my paintings will be seasonally dependant, the new landscapes are more abstracted than previously, freely interpreting the environment to capture a spacious evocation of place, rather than a painting of a place. Abstracts will be simillary managed in tune with the season. Who knows where my painting will take me!

Exhibition plans , I am taking part in Hampshire Open Studios this August and I intend to enter a number of Open Art Exhibitions, as well as annual art exhibitions of societies I belong to.
