Planning exhibitions
This week I met up with my fellow artist at the Control Tower at Greenham, we are having a joint exhibition there during West Berkshire & North Hampshire open studios 7th-20th May. More exhibitions are planned along with entries to open exhibitions.
NEWS..
The exhibition looked very good, the room was a lovely light white space and our paintings looked very good. Lots of footfall and entertaining chats but no big sales, sold lots of cards a new venture which looks very promising.

Contemporary Art Fair Newbury

I have just returned from hanging paintings on stand 29 of the Contemporary Art Fair Newbury. Private view this evening.
The fair was not very busy and was a little disappointing but I spoke to lots of friendly people who admired my paintings and make complimentary remarks' handed out masses of cards and made modest sales. Other artists liked the paintings which is encouraging!
Busy week coming up paintings to deliver to two exhibitions in Newbury for the West Berkshire & North Hampshire Open Studios event..

Planning ahead.

I am planning for next year in the hope that the situation will be a little more normal. Next year is going to be ambitious, I submitted to Contemporary Art Fairs to be an exhibitor and I have been positively confirmed. So next year I will be exhibiting at my first art fair which is held at Newbury racecourse in one of the stands. This year I am helping a friend so I can see how the system works. It will be really exciting, and I am looking forward to taking part tremendously.Proteus exhibition confirmed

The Group Exhibition at Proteus Creation Space has been confirmed for June 21- 30, which is exciting. I have not decided what to show yet as the details have yet to be released and the display space is unknown. Alas exhibition has been put back again until later in the year
A strong start to the year
