Season of Mists is inspired by John Keats poem To Autumn and the misty mornings that occur at this time of year. the first two lines of of the poem are on three edges of the painting ,right, top and left. Putting text on the bottom edge did not work as it did not follow and was illegible to read upside-down. The colours of the text mirror the colours of the painting.
